Set the rule - “We listen to each other”

Think about others - “How do you feel when people do not listen to you”

Teach why - “We will have more good times together if we listen to each other”

Set future expectations - “Next time, I expect you to listen”

Later, give praise - “I was really proud of the way you listened”
